Today was one of the worst days of my life. I was supposed to be celebrating having finished university but instead I decided to go and spend my loose change on the fobts. That loose change turned into 2000. Money that my wife and had been saving for her to travel next month. I cannot bring myself to tell her what I've done but today was the final straw. I will never touch those evil, fixed machines again!
Well done for coming here and sharing your problem. I had the same addiction with the fobts but I am 56 days clean and feeling great. First u have to admit to yourself that the money ain't coming back. Its going to take time but it can be done. At the start all I thought about was playing the machines but the longer u abstain the less u think about gambling. I still think about it but I am controlling it .

Well done for coming on here Sean, quite true these machines are evil and illegal - 2 a spin max is the law on all games. Very true words by Delboy, the hardest part is admitting the money is gone and is never coming back.
I too have had issues with FOBT's, tomorrow is three weeks clean for me and I am very strong, never, never going back - there not even having a pound from me.

Thank you lads! It hasn't been easy at all. I've been playing roulette for 7 years now. The first time I lost big was when i lost a grand and then i lost 4,000, 10,000, a few grand here and there and on Tuesday I lost 2,000.
