Good morning world

Life is good for this cg 🙂

Just taking it day by day , learning to chill a bit more , no rush , I'll get there when I get there !

Having support in whatever form is vital , without it the story could be different !

Just one thing I've learnt over the weekend , don't watch programmes that could have a huge win , it sets the mind a thinking !

I just went to bed and read , soon past but another thing I am now aware off , learning each and every day !

Keep strong all

Lucy xxxxxxxx

Hi Lucy, thanks for your post. Glad to hear things are looking up for you. Avoiding shows with big wins is a good call, if only 'Blankety Blank' was still screening we'd all be safe.

Again you're right about myself being happy due to Liverpool winning, first time I've been able to watch match of the day. Usually I'm crying into a salt stained pillow on a Saturday night muttering 'if only...' Stoke next week, should be brought back down to earth by the towering Crouch, whoever gave Peter 'George's Marvellous Medicine' has a lot to answer for.

Hope things go well for you this week Luc, take care, keep strong, don't worry you're on the right path, true and everlasting happiness is just around the corner.

Lucy.

Someone got back on there bike after fitting some of those super tough tyres and rode forward all be it at there pace, for that my dear friend is for me one lesson you should be extremely proud of. Yourself and your recovery is done at your pace. There is no race, just a place full of winners and for that I will be eternally happy.

Keep making the right choice for you. The rest will benefit too !!!! Each days choice makes us win!!!!! Just for today.

Duncs stepping forward never back

Morning Lucy,

I will agree with Shiny for prob the umpteenth time as you really can almost see your smile in your posts. It is always a pleasure to read as good or bad it's real.

You are so right about learning each day, I pick up things constantly and you know what the more we learn the better equipped we are to fight.

The great thing is when Lucy is smiling, when Lucy is fighting it can honestly lift this whole forum. There are a certain few people who can do that and I would put you right up there.

Mr Flagg hopes life continues to move forward for you but one day at a time not 100mph.

Good mornin Lucy

Just seem to be following ur emotional path at the moment like u done a lot of thinkin and like with gambling tryin to take my day to day life one day at a time , I think sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves and worry bout things before they av even happened the future will be what it will be , the only thing we both know and need to remember is that it will be better without gambling in it

We will get there one day at a time and we will do it together every step of the way , gonna be nice today with no quick wit remark as in the words of shiny or dusty of old just for today

Take care

Hi Lucy thanks for your post, it's good to hear from you as always. I'm glad that you sound happier and relaxed. Yet even if you didn't its always nice to hear from you anyway. We've all learned so much since joining this site, myself especially and it's down to people like yourself, thanks for that. Contentment doesn't come all at once, I firmly believe it happens over time, more through changing one's mindset. I also believe you're nearly there.

Take care

Good Morning World

It's stopped raining and the sun's making an appearance , could that be why the smile is really huge today?

No i reckon it's because i am still bet free, going along nicely , no thoughts at present and starting to really live again 😉

Even if it's tough at work i now do not take it home with me and i believe this helps in lessening the devils too as before it would send me to escape but not now, now i just come home, chill a bit, potter around, go out to mates and weekends go out and try new things!

So life is just getting better and better every day i stay bet free and long may it continue 😉

Keep strong all and have a great weekend

Smiling Lucy 🙂

Hi Lucy

Tryin to take a leaf out of ur book with the destressing from work as it's not good esp when there's tough times .good to see ur a happy bunny in life and couldn't be happier for u

Not a bad start for the happy hammers this season think u will be ok and stay up , 1st season back is main priority think Andy carrol is a great signing , unfortunately for my not so super owls cannot buy a win and again stopping up is priority , don't go to many based on the fact they don't come and see me when I'm badly lol

Catch up soon , take care for now

HI Lucy,

Your post brought the sunshine out to and made me smile, so great to see such a postive happy post. It was something I always struggled with leaving work in work once your finished but im so much better at it now

We are dedicated and commited to our jobs but i dont think there is a job that could pay enough money to interfere so much and cause us so much worry in our personall time, we give 110% every day i think thats more than enough.

Keep smiling lucy

Take care
