Hi Stace, long time no speak! I’ve not been around for a while and it was great to see you again here.
But I’m very saddened to hear you are at a low ebb right now Stace. I really feel for you, genuinely. Life is often not easy anyway and it must feel like you’re up against it.

One thing you do have, and it’s a great attribute and sign of character is ‘bouncebackability’. (Not sure if that’s a real word but it is now!)

You continue to strive for you and your family. Fall down 8 times, get up 9. But it’s not that easy a lot if the time, Stace: I get that.

Someone wrote on your diary that it might be a good idea to revisit your diary, focussing in the good bits (and there are a good few of these!) and skipping through the ‘orrible bits.

it might be worth it Stace because the good bits, which happened in the past and will happen again, will be all sweeter next time.

Keep focussing on you, your family and those that love you, and you love them. And we all love you here of course.

Keep being you, Stace, that’s what matters. We need you (because we resonate with you, share with you, listen to you) and when you need us, we are always here. Ears open, heart open, here.

Give time for the meds to kick in, get plenty of rest until they do. The neighbours from what youve mentioned are not worth your time, concentrate on you and only you. Small solid steps and you are going to get there, save your energy for what matters which is you and your family. You cant run a marathon in minutes, and similarly you can`t beat addiction in days, small solid steps and build yourself back up from the foundations. Good sleep, good rest - creates good thoughts and good decisions - which then lead to good thoughts and a better outlook - which then lead to positivity - self worth and liking yourself again - which then lead to confidence and new life goals. That is a positive circle and you can create exactly that , but the only way to get that circle in motion is to concentrate on the first bit and work on it hard before starting to tackle the next bit. So, plenty of rest, plenty of sleep to start with. YOU CAN DO THIS. And we are going to witness it!!!

Hi Stacy, just passing by - as you do! - and (always) wishing you well. (And what a lovely post from Adam there).

I've read a bit more of your diary, and always, always like your spirit. Heck, life throws some zingers (doesn't it just), but stoically, you deal with it, getting help as you need it (and we all need support now and then, sometime mores so - it's that sort of life) and making sure you release those stresses as you need to. We all need to let off steam. We all need  to have "aaaarrrrghhh!" moments.

But I hope you're being kind to yourself and also life's being a bit kinder to you, Stace.

Toodle-loo for now.

Thankyou all for your kind word, every post has touched my heart.

Sad news to report tonight, my aunty has died. Also my rabbit very poorly , the vet will decide in morning if he needs an op or put to sleep. Feeling devastated tonight. Life is so hard at times. This week really testing me, I'm so low. Last gambled Monday I think. What I'd do for that escape now

Thankyou Jane and mixer.

Not gambled for 10 days now. Really struggling at the moment but managing to keep away from gambling. Will slowly get stronger

10 hard-won days there Stace. Showing real grit there. It’s great to read.

I hope you’re having a decent day today. I know you’re finding things not so easy right now; not surprising in some ways, given what’s happened lately.

Here’s to a bit of balance coming your way as we head to the weekend Stace. I’m wishing some karma your way and a relaxing, calmer time ahead.

Things are starting to look up. I'm feeling more positive. Partner has banking app so can now see every transaction, feels strange but he's trusted me to also keep the banking app on my phone, I love him for that, as he knows I use it abit, and he's trusting me. I've let him down so many times, but this time, just knowing he can see the transactions is helping me.

I went out for a walk around a lake today  with partner and kids. My mental health had declined so much that I wasn't going out. It did me the world of good, it really does help your mental health, and got my steps in lol

Were taking the kids to flip-out in chester on Friday then mcdonalds, a last treat before school restarts. Those 6 weeks gone fast, be sad to see them go back to school. But feels good that I can actually afford a day out, couldn't when gambling.

Day 14 of no gambling,  I will do this again
