Day 6 - 04/03/2016

Still no gambling! This site and writing this diary has a lot to do with it i think. Looking forward going out tonight for my friend's birthday, think will have a smile on my face tonight and enjoy the night rather than drink to forget which normally happened recently. Nearly hit the week!

Day 24 - 22/03/16

I cannot believe over 3 weeks gamble free with next milestone aiming for the month! I have had the urges and still do, but i have the blocks in place now and the willingness and wanting to give up which is making such a difference. I am still masively in debt and will take ages to pay back, but i have my monthy finances in track now which i am really pleased about and feel like it is a new me.

Good luck all and keep strong

Well done nb top stuff the blocks do certainly help, it gives you time to break the habit the debts will look after themselves as long as we don't add to them.

Keep it up and KTF

Day 39 - 06/04/16

What a week! Work has been manic which has been good as less time to get the urge to gamble. Still gf and as a treat (even though massively in debt) have treated myself to a long weeked to Barcelona in May with friends 🙂 i never did this as even though could spend thousands in a night at a casino, would think spending £200-300 on an actual nice get away for a long weekend was too expensive and not justifiable...how stupid was that! So excited and hopefully the saving for spending money for the trip will take my mind off gambling!

Good luck all and stay positive and strong

09/04/16 - Epic Fail!

Back to day 0, unfortunately i had the itch with all the grand national talk going on today, and managed to gamble £750 in the bookies this afternoon 🙁 Good news, it could of been a lot worse and managed to walk out after this amount at least! So disappointed in myself as was doing so well....back to day 1...trying to stay positive still!
