Hello mate--glad to read that things are still good for you.

You deserve all the success mate as you were so determined right from the outset. As you say the weight loss will be a walk in the park for you as giving up gambling must be the hardest thing you have ever done.

All the best

Stumper

It sure beats gambling. I wasn't happy with your man Nasri scoring last night......anyway take care buddy and keep up the fight. Russ

Hi Jeff,

A very inspiring story there. Very well done on your 1002 days gamble free that is such a huge achievement. Me I only gambled for 7 years but it has cost me dearly and left me in a lot of debt but I have an opportunity to clear all that by January. I have been gamble free only 49days but like you plan to make that as many days as i live until i die. Your story is a very big inspiration and this site is helping me alot too. So i thank you for that and everyone else on here who posts.

Also well done with your dieting that is tough too in this day and age with all the rubbish they sell lol.

Kind Regards

Ricky

Hello Jeff,

Great to see that you are still going strong with your gamble free life... past 1000 days, congratulations. I think it is important that there are people racking up good time on here. It must help newbies to see that what seems so impossible in the beginning IS in reality achievable.

It was very important to me in the early days to find people who had turned their lives around. I looked up to them, their achievement, their strength... it gave me a glimmer of hope when I felt lost & drowning in the misery created from compulsive gambling.

All the best Jackie
