Loxxie, my love, you have a lot to contend with and you are doing well. It's early days and our heads are all over the place and it's important not to take any hasty decisions when you are vulnerable. It's horrible when your marriage is unhappy and playing online feels so easy as it offers you a chance to escape. But, as we know there is no escape from the consequences of being a compulsive gambler.

I hope you work out what is best for you and surround yourself with those who will love and support you whatever your decision regarding your marriage. Take care xx

I thought we had established that it is perfectly okay to ramble?! I think I understand your comments on slots as they had a similar role for me. Circumstances led me to become a full time carer and meant I had to live away from home for some time. I spent that time as responsible for every decision in a life that took away my identity and ground me down. That is when my gambling really took hold. Slots took me somewhere else. A couple of good wins at the beginning gave hope of the big one and gave me enough funds to get really hooked. From then on, it was my money chasing my losses and a dream. My life has changed a lot since then but I used the crutch slots became to deal with so many other problems as well. I think you are taking the right approach deal with the gambling first and when you can see more clearly deal with whatever is left. Chin up. Jx

Loxxie, well done for yet another week. Positive to hear how much better you are feeling. I'm 3 weeks behind you now but plan on keeping it only 3 weeks. I'm not widening that gap. LOL. x
