Firstly like to thank everyone on here as you have nearly got me through my first day!!
I gave up for over a year going to GA sessions but relapsed about 4 months ago and have spent thousands in that time I was feeling so low and out of control yesterday so I decided to come on here after speaking with a gamcare worker on the phone
I didn't think it would work for me on a forum but how wrong was I! I've joined the 2014 challenge had a wicked message from James P which was a real eye opener thanks for that mate and I'm feeling confident that I can crack this for the second time!
I've got a beautiful 6 month old daughter that I want to take care of so she wants for nothing and I don't want her to see her daddy moody and stressed and skint because of gambling!
So this is part 2 of my recovery first day is nearly done id like to thank you all for posting on here what an inspiration you all are

Well I'm on day 5 and feeling quite good I do get the urge to go in the bookies everyday but when I get that urge I log on here read a few posts and I find that keeps me out!!
As you can quess from my title the is take 2 and I'm really determined to crack it this time!
Really impressed with the 2014 challenge Mr Brightside is a legend and I feel part of a team its cool!!
Anyway I've nearly done a week so I'm pleased about that

A very sheepish Mr B popping in to say hi and to congratulate you on nearing the first week of being gamble free........I've got a young one too - what a difference it makes looking them in the face and knowing you are creating a future for them and not destroying it.
