Know how u feel.30..in debt...no assets..nothing to show at all. Why? Because iv gambled all my life...wasted. BUT ..all is not lost and if i start wising up now...its not too late and the future can be a gamble free one..a better one

Both of you can change things and turn them around in no time. After just a few weeks of being gamble free you will see life completely differently.

Once you can sit down, work out the finances, hand over control to someone you trust and deal with the route cause of why you feel the need to gamble, things will get much easier.

The first few weeks are the hardest so when people say one day at a time, it really means just that. Concentrate and before you know it, you will see a massive improvevent in your life and everything you touch will seem to turn in to gold. Your life will become magic.

Hi MBA can see your not in a good spot but glad to have you back on here. You were always a valued member of this forum. Your attitude is good beleive it or not. For years I stop and started I had good runs and bad runs of abstinance one of 2 and a half years. I am only off 3 months at the moment but I am happy and glad of each day hopefully with a bit of hard work you get days going.

The problem I have is i owe paypal £4000.
Had gambling transactions declined by my bank.
i could be in deep trouble with the authorities. Does anyone know what i can do?

Day 1 and as I said i am back because i have to not because i want to.
I know that feeling will change in a couple of weeks as ive been here before.
Just trying to get my head around letting my family down again. ...However they don't know it.

I'm not sure I've posted you before but I've followed you. £4K is the least of our worries. All the other s**t going on is the issue. The lies, the stress, the sleepless nights, the fake smiles, the "no we can't afford it" comments, the steering wheel bangs, the sneaking off to another room to hang head, the list goes on. I wish you the very very best my friend, I can tell you're as entangled in this mess as I am. It's horrible. We can't get up though. You'll get out this mess. Just stay focused.

the problem isnt that I owe about 25k in loans and credit cards its the 4k i owe paypal that they want immediately.

I borrowed money in advance and my bank refused it all so i have a -4k balance that they want immediately and i have to pay.
i broke the rules..how do i overcome that??? Thats my worry now

All i wanna do is pay that off earn the money whatever but i cant im stuffed.

Course a part of me wants to win it but that wont be happening. .

mba, I don't know if the situation is the same but....I had a few online gambling transactions come out my account, I didn't know the company were having 'banking issues' and the money bounced back a week later into my account. I spent it and then they asked for it again, short story I was almost £1k over that bank had to honour and I didn't have.

Bank were great, got me to phone their financial hardship line and they went over my finances and set up a repayment plan to get the money back to them. Go speak to them, at the end of the day they just want their money. Good luck mate.

So paypal could set up a repayment plan for me...even tho im totally in the wrong....

I don't know if they will but if you approach them saying that you have made a mistake, that you don't have the funds and what can you do to put it right. I don't know how paypal works and I can only go by my experience.
