Glad you're starting to see a rhythm and the days ticking off - I'm also reluctantly back on the forum, having blown money I didn't have too.

With regards to the 4k, don't bury your head in the sand, talk to them, tell them you can't afford to pay it now, and offer what you can start to pay back. Not sure about Paypal, but with banks they are legally obliged to try and help you as much as they can. Ultimately, it is unsecured debt, so there's only a limited number of things they can do, and if you don't have the money, then you can't pay. Showing signs of being willing to repay it and discussing repayment plans will be much more likely to help you get a positive response from them.

Failed and im back

Mba there are two steps to take now. Do you really want to stop or is it just the 4K you want to sort? Step 1: put blocks in place to prevent relapses,self exclude from bookies online accounts,casinos the works! Either think about handing control of your finances over to someone or cut your cards up and order new ones,when they come get someone to scratch of the security number at the back. Also look at counselling. Step 2: Phone PayPal regarding the 4K don't bury your head in the sand. Your gambling again because you think you can win and clear it but instead your sinking further. I'm sure they'd rather have some money coming in than nothing at all. You have to commit to this process stop leaving avenues open to relapse. I wish you well

You're right i thought i could win it but as always i lost all available money i had.

I am self excluded but there are so many out there and there are shops so only will power can get me through this.

Regarding paypal im hoping a loan enquiry is accepted or maybe i will have to call them.

Fella I am not sure if you are two people or run two threads.

One written by the inner non gambler the little man who cant get out as addiction rules the roost,addiction after all the false statements of remorse and promises to seek help and support written on that thread belonging to the inner Mark rode right over the top and yesterday gambling addiction was the victor.

Today no doubt as written all funds depleted the little inner Mark will come to the fore, full of remorse and promise to change.

It answers the last question I asked upon the inner Marks thread.

Hi dunc....yes i now have a farewell diary.

Got the 4k and the paypal debt is gone but owed to family.

Im totally over gambling now and never going back.
