I haven’t posted for quite a while properly and have decided this will be my last post here.Â
I am grateful for all of the support I have had from the admin team who I admire for carrying out such a difficult job, to all of the good people who have given me advice on my road to recovery and being gamble free.Â
I have much to be grateful for from this forum and for that I will never forget it but I have decided after many times of debating that this is where my story ends where gamcare is concerned. I have sat back the last few months watching from afar and can no longer continue to watch events unfolding as it saddens me to the core. I can no longer be a bystander watching others getting torn down by wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing and respectful members being discredited or other members feeling like they no longer belong. I am a caring and genuine person who cares too much about others feelings and despite my best efforts to be supportive and genuinely caring, I feel the sincerity that they are meant with are   being portrayed as something else.Â
I wish for everyone who has shown me support and who I have tried to support a healthy happy life being gamble free and truly want the best for each and everyone of you but for me this is where I get off the Gamcare train before my faith and seeing the best in people is diminished forever. I cannot watch the distress it is causing good people including myself any longer.Â
Over and out!

??? Congratulations Lively - One Year Gamble-Free ???
Â
Dear Becky such a lively soul
Polished and most gentle
Got involved in gamblingÂ
Which drove the poor girl mental
Â
That was twelve long months ago
A bygone age it seems
But Bex will never forget
Those dreadful haunting dreams
Â
And the moral of this little rhyme
Is plain as plain can be
Life is much more pleasant
When one lives gamble free.
Â
A big thank you from your number one fan.
Love and best wishes.
