Keep going Ben. You seem to have your finances under control. (A massive help). Councelling and your daily gf count clocking up. Make sure you use this opportunity to turn your life around. It's not easy but it's a must!! (I must remember to take my own advice lol!) All good wishes x
21 days today, another little milestone, 3 weeks since my last bet. had a good day watching bolton play sheffield united away. we lost but the day was good. everythings looking good at the minute. early days but a good start. hope everyones well.
Hi Ben
Have just been reading through your diary. You have done so well - even with your little lapse. The important thing is that it was just that and not a full blown relapse. Just remember that.
It is such a help when you have a good support network around you, who are able to help out financially and emotionally too. I was lucky enough to have that in both my sister and my brother and I will never forget their help at the worst time of my life, a few years back.
You seem very positive and motivated to do your best and that is a great bonus. Keep up the good work and take care of yourself - and your fiancГ©e - she deserves it!
Our Lady.
24 days since i last had a bet. good week at work. nice 3 day weekend to look forward to. me and the mrs are going to chester zoo. will be good to spend some quality time together.
our lady - thanks so much for your comments, they really do help me.
Sorry to read about your relaspe, but pleased to read you are back on the wagon.
Many of us, relasped while trying to quit, but the important thing is to get back to quitting, straight away.
Also think of the positives, how much you would have gambled during those many months you quit. If you had won, would you still be on the wagon again and would you have now lost even more.
Seems a lot of us, stopped posting regularly around the same time. Many threads I subscribed to 6 months ago haven't been updated. But togetherness is an important part of quitting.
Soon be a whole month again for you and again looking at it positively you've clawed back some of that money you gambled.
Affected by gambling?
