A week away is another way of getting the mind away from the day to day stuff, which of course also means gambling, to compulsive gamblers.

By the time you go Ben, it'll be 3 weeks gamble free and no doubt some spending money for the holiday saved, you wouldn't have saved in the past. Upon coming back it'll be a glorious 1 month gamble free.

The amount of money, I used to gamble away, I could have afforded a European holiday every month, well if it wasn't for work getting in the way lol.

Well done Ben. Your doing great . Just remember to keep your guard up and don't get to comfy and think this is too easy. Gambling will tug us at any point and will pretend to be our friend when things are hard. It will do anything to lure us back.

Well done mate

Stay safe

Gaz - cheers again for the continued support, i will ensure i dont become complacent and i will continue to keep the barriers in place to stop me gambling. gambling is the devil and will bite you if you give it a chance too!

Steve - thanks steve, the milestones are racking up, im just taking each day at a time and its working at the moment, cheers again 🙂

Keep going Ben, you're doing great.

So 2 days to be 3 weeks free and then once you come back from your holiday, the month mark beckons.

I'll try and have a good weekend, but 2 twelve hour night shifts, probably means I won't lol.

Day 20. Gamble free.

Feel quite proud today. First time in years ive not had a bet on a football tournament. Dont get me wrong, the urges were the strongest theyd been in a long while but i managed to stay focussed and put them to bed.

Looking forward to the england game tonight! Stay safe everyone

That's great news Ben, just keep 100% focussed, you do not need to bet, to enjoy watching England win.

The 3 weeks mark is just a tiny step away, then your holiday and the 1 month mark.

Keep that guard up, no doubt your mind, will say to you a small gamble on England, going on holiday so I'm happy and I can easily just have a small gamble. DON'T listen to it.
