Well done on your recovery progress, Stacey. Your posts here remind of where I've been in the past and I can relate to a lot of what you've gone through. Good job on all you're doing to improve your life. You're doing brilliantly. Really pleased for you.

Day 56

I'm I feeling any better than I did at Day 0?

Simple answer is... No. Infact I feel worse.

Simply because I still feel like I have made any real improvement to my self well being.

I let all this time pass by without doing anything because there is no motivation whatsoever.

Hi Stacey. Keep strong and do not listen to those demons. I myself am on day 42, I have never done this long before. I feel good and I am going to GA meetings in which I find very good. All the best I'm overcoming this baffling illness.

Jaym

Day 84

Hey... An update, I know I'm rarely here... Keeping myself playing video games on the laptop and just not thinking of the outside world at present.

Not even thinking of gambling, money, getting a job or anything else normal in life at all. Just sometimes pretending I'm in another world so I do not think too much of it.

Well... I eliminated another debt recently too... A one from a bank I left with a "negative balance" and after 2 years they chased me for the cash but now cleared the amount owed.

Day 223

Yes, It's been a long time since I've been here. Mainly because I haven't really had much to write.

Progress has been made, I'm in work full time now albeit on minimum wage, but its a full time contract and I don't have to travel far since it's not too far away from home. I been making some friends but many people I work with are foreign unfortunately but a jobs a job and I need it to turn the finances around.

I've paid some more small loans off and the outgoings now are 130 a month to debt should I make minimum payments. There is also a little reserve in the bank now too.

Can I make it to (dare I say it) Day 365?

Day 225

Not a lot to say today other than the fact that I will not gamble today. Off to work now...

Cut myself with the razor... AGAIN

Hi Stacey,

I took a lot of time out to read through this all and found it very sad but also very relative to my situation.

Making new friends isn't always easy but this place is a good one.

Good to see you are doing well and back working.

If you want anyone to talk to more often then email me on [email protected] or my twitter is @AdamRPearson.

Adam.

Day 441

I'm back. I still haven't bet either since the last time I posted, I really need to start visiting the forum again and post more often and people may take note of my progress.

I'm tired now so a full update will be made once I feel in better shape, I'm not so great lately.

Hi Stacey, you should be immensely proud of what you have achieved in those 441 days. You have done what so many find impossible, so you have my full respect. Look at your journey and try and focus on the positives, which I'm sure must outweigh the negatives.

Stay strong and I hope you begin to feel better soon.

Day 444

Here it is. Another few days done and dusted and I have payed off a credit card and phoned up to get the account closed, although it's not a lot of money, it just gives me a bit of peace of mind still. Everything helps I guess in a mental frame of mind.

I've recently recieved a tax rebate and that's been banked, the majority of wages have been saved and there is still no access available to me to withdraw cash or use a cash card online for betting.

My life still remains the same as it did sometime, Spending many days in the wilderness and on the laptop and working the days away as I still remain on target to clear debt by the end of next year.

Thank you, unfortunately I don't read the forums much, I get bad eyes from the layout.
