My gambling is completely out of control I can’t keep a dollar in my account without running to the casino I’ve been gambling every paycheck every dollar for 20 years , every time I manage to save anything for a few weeks or a month than I go and lose it all again , when I gamble I can’t leave if I win ten jackpots I can’t leave until I lose it all and max out all my cards I tell myself if I get my money back I will leave the casino and I never do even if I get my money back that night ten times I still can’t leave until I’m broke and there is no more money to take out . I’m going to keep a diary of my recovery .

@b35wu7ym1z hi Pete.  I gambled for 20 years myself.  However tomorrow I celebrate 100 days gambling free, so it now possible.

It is sheer hell.  The constant fix of the bet and then dealing with the losses and the regret.  I am so happy to be free of it, though the debt incurred still lingers.

Make sure you have a plan in place for when the urge hits.  Reward yourself for not gambling and make sure you talk about how you are feeling.

Remember.  Gambling thrives in dark corners.  The more light you shine on it and the more open you are to yourself and others the less of a hold it will have over you.

Keep us posted and well done
