Day 21
Guineas Day - today I will NOT gamble
ODAAT
Still day 21 and I watched the Guineas (just the one race) and I am now watching the FA Cup final.
I have felt no urge to have a bet today and felt confident I could watch both sporting occasions without any problems. This has been correct thus far and my confidence is high as I feel very much like a man with a mission.
I have my target, which I will re-new when I have achieved my goal as it may be an ongoing requirement.
But for now, I'll accept the peace and tranquility that I have found through not gambling and enjoy the serenity it has brought me - one day at a time.

Stay strong and keep going 🙂
Hi Weldy
Just be careful with the sports watching. I try to steer clear myself. In the past I would of allowed myself to watch sport to my detriment.
Stay Safe

Thanks Charlotte & Lucky Mike.
I'll take it easy with the sports watching Mike and I appreciate the dangers. Cheers

Day 27
A OK today.
Seems that the events of last week did indeed drive Charlotte away from the site caused seemingly by a lost soul who has also now mysteriously vanished.
It's important when using this forum to remember that it is an open forum and that anyone can have access to it. We do not know who people really are when they post and we should do well to try and not be too oversensitive about what is actually written.
It has occured to me to think that it is even possible that people we trust and confide in could invade our space and deliberately derail our recovery, if they are spiteful enough to do so.
Take from the forum whatever you personally want from it, but don't allow it to derail you from your purpose of using it.
The benefits in my opinion outweigh the negatives, but sometimes it can be a fine line.

Yep,
I do agree, was wondering myself today what happened to matt, it would be sad to think that all what not as it seemed, but his disappearance has also not gone unnoticed.
I like you believe the benefits of using this site by far out weigh the negatives. Also noticed a posting a graham made on over coming problem gaming, which said if you get a troll posting , which no doubt will happen now and again. Do not reply and contact gamcare. By egnoring it, it does not acknowledge its existence. That made soooooo much sence to me.
Anyways good to see you are doing well, hope you have a good weekend.
Take care
