Hi all

Day 22 gamble free but really struggling with the losses and thinking about what I have each month compared to what I should have if I had of clicked cash out and left it.

I felt like I was getting over it and it's got better, but I cannot get it out of my head and today I'm just slow at work. I spend a lot of time driving so I just think and think and beat myself up.

Does anyone have any tactics?

My worry isn't that I will gamble as it makes me feel sick just thinking about it. My worry is its affecting work and my health and can't focus on anything

Thoughts are appreciated all xx

I am in exactly the same boat and know exactly how you feel, I've paid 2 of 60 payments all for a few days of utter madness. It's a massive chunk to pay back, it's painful but I think I had to hit that final all time low to stop. And when you have a debt you want it gone as quick as possible and often the mind will tell you 1 big win and your debt free, but read all the stories of chasing and all that will do is get you deeper involved. Get out of the trap. Stay gamble free and know it eventually will go, it probably doesn't seem like it but just pay it off, do overtime another part time job and chip away at it. But never go back to wanting a quick way out.

Cheers smashed!

Absolutely right mate, the illusive big win doesn't exist.. I had my big win 22 days ago to clear my debts I had 17k in my account but wanted more and lost it all.

A few people have rightly said "the big ein doesn't exist because you can't ever walk away and end up losing all"

Like you say utter madness for a few hours playing with a ball and a wheel and some square pieces of card with numbers on them and it causes so many years of misery.

Just keep thinking what if!! Not gambling but furious! I suppose these thoughts will occur and test me but I have to try move on

I second everything Smashed has said there is nothing we can do to reverse time and not gamble that money but we can make we don't repeat the same pattern. Sure the waves of regret are painful and will come and go but if you can make it a day at a time you know you're not making things worse. I found once I could get my head round the losses (it took a while!) the load seemed alot lighter, take care S:)
