Day 618,619,620 and 621

Went to GA last night. wasn't asked to speak which was fine so i just listened. Good meeting but feel once more that some members overstep the mark when dishing out advice. I know it's to make you stay off a bet but there are various ways to do this. this bothers me from time to time. I'll stay focussed and carry on.

Thanks NM for your post.

Have a nice weekend.

Gazza

Fella I emphasise with you regarding folk dishing out the advice in shovels, but always try to take the view that if it helps just one person in the room then I leave it where it belongs

IN the room

We can only take what works for us and keep doing it, for me the stark reality that it would actually be easier to just fall back into gambling full time is one which drives me to continue beating it.

One day at a time fella

Keep doing what works for you, me I am very proud of your achievement.

you should be too.

Day 632,633,634 and 635

Thanks Dunc, us and our numbers eh?

I didn't get to GA last night.

The last few weeks have been tiring and stressful-it's just that time of the year.

Never seem to be able to catch up with stuff.

Weekends come and go.

I'll stop moaning now.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

Day 639,640,641 (21 months) and 642

Went to GA last night.

Just made it for the start of the meeting and the Chairperson asked me to give my story, so much for keeping the head down! I duely obliged but focussed on the recovery side- it can't always be doom and gloom. We are afterall trying to get back to a "normal" life.
