Well done on getting to seven weeks pal. On your partner trusting you (seven weeks is a short time in real life along time in the life of a compulsive gambler). You will get there best of luck and hope to see you on week 8 soon.

Day 53

Feeling a bit down today.

Guilt is my main issue. I feel guilty about a number of things, many i put down to my gambling or the financial implications of it or the worry and stress caused to my loved ones.

I'll really have to sort this out.

Anyway, hope everybody has a good day.

day 54

feeling stronger today after last night's GA meeting.

last night's message was complacency. did me the power of good to know we can never let up in our recovery-advice was from people who have experience in this and know what they are talking about.

Hope everybody has a good day.

hi Gazza

keep being strong! try not to feel guilty you are making the step to change your life, but i must admit some day's i think of all the money i have wasted 5 digits (wouldn't want to no how much to the pound)) over the years i can honestly say iv'e only ever won big once! £2000 put most of it back bit by bit, i'm not great at maths but i know that dont add up and your cant really get rich doing it! but i know gambling is a waste of time, money effort. pain i could go on hope you have a good weekend Hollie xx

Day 57.

Felt that making 8 weeks was a small step taken to normality.

Busy with family stuff over the weekend which was great.

Lots to do at work.

Not much else to report.

Hope everybody is well

Day 57 mate, great achievement. Make sure you acknowledge each day with a pat on the back mate - if it was drugs, ciggies or alcohol, everyone else would pat you on the back but not gambling - how strange.

Take Care

Day 58.

Blues,thanks for your post.

Think the recovery like the illness can be a solitary one at times despite the love from those closest to us.

One day at a time.

Hope everybody is well
