Thanks a lot for the post Rhoda I think not running from emotions is a good idea its just I will have to work on it aswith my condition I get a lot of emotions to deal with and I'm used to just putting on a brave happy front in front of there at work and in my social life. I usually just don't say anything about what's really going on in my head. I did however see my doctor recently and tried to put into words what id beethinking about and she documented them. Another week where I've not had any alcohol, ciggies, weed, gambling, must admit I'm finding it a bit different to unwind this weekend after a hard weeks work I usually used to have a couple of ciders to relax. Just had some chocolate but doesn't really hit the spot. I do think I will become stronger with the detox and new lifestyle and ive soo far spent 23 pounds this month and 150 last month so when I did gamble for two months it was like 700 a month spending which was terrible. Not sure what I'm up to tomo I gues more of the same hopeful to hit the gym if I feel suitably refreshed.

Hello diary, another weekend flew past, spent whole weekend with mum and dad, went on a steam train, set up my decks in my bedroom and watched a lot of tv. Soo far this month I've only spent twenty three pounds after all my bills. Aimining to spend zero untill present buying for Xmas for family. Managed to get Spotify going thru my seperTe speakers sounds much better. Didn't go to gym only been once this week poor show. Must do better next week as I'm putting on timber as we speak.

Wishing you all the best for the week ahead mate. I’m also aiming to get back on the fitness wagon. It sounds like you’re doing very well for yourself Adam. I’ve witnessed some of your struggles over the last few months and nothing pleases me more than to see you doing well. You seem like a genuinely good guy with a good heart. Keep on winning in life at mate. I’m here to stay so I’m with you all the way.

Adament Adam has d**n well had enough of the damnable gambling (Say that fast 10 times). He knows the time has come to let the past go and move on.

Be adventurous my friend but do not make unrealistic demands on your self. It is good to spread your wings and fly but until you get the hang of it maybe wear a parachute.

You are over 10 weeks gamble free and looking at ways to improve your quality of life. Building relationships with family, friends and acquaintances, keeping yourself fit and taking things nice and steady. It is good that you are reevaluating your life and exploring new opportunities. You are a star and an inspiration. I wish you peace, contentment and fun as you continue on your gamble free adventure...stephen

After paying all my bills each month I have two hundred pounds left for, its not a lot, last year I had about four hundred pounds each month after bills and the same the year before. In 2016 I ended the year minus 1400 pounds, in 2017 I ended the year plus nine hundred pounds and if I spend nothing for the rez

If I spend one hundred on presents for Xmas and nothing else ill ended up minus three hundred this year. So that's net minus 800 pounds for the past three years not too bad. Want to get back that eight hundred this year, so if I can get back to full time work soon, well the sooner the better, I can make an extra two hundred a month which will get me way over my target.

Over those three years I spent over six thousand on gambling and also most of the rest of my money on alcohol and ciggerettes in 2016. Now I'm tee total I will struggle to spend money which is fantastic. Don't want to over think about mine th as its not good to. Just got to remember this six thousand pounds when I'm thinking of having a bet and kick the thought into touch.
