Thanks everyone four your very kind comments. I literally slept so soundly last night. Life seems bright today.

Off to get my hair done at the 'posh hair shop' followed by a nice cup of coffee and a cake at the cafe next door..

Dear Diary,

I have worked 48 hours in 3 days. I am shattered, comtented, and in bed. I read with great interest people's veiled attack on others in their diary. Just saying enough so everyone knows who they are talking about, but not enough to be accused of anything in particular. Just making an observation it would seem. Good job I don't give a flying hoof what people think eh! One could be offended...There is a lot to be offended over in this world. Words on a internet page are not one of those things. #Justsaying

Feels like a Sunday today, so am ready to start the week with a bang!

Julie x

Hey Julie!

What a fantastic news about the job! ☺..well done you!! Whoop whoop i knew you will smash it!!

Note to self: pick that book up and start studying!

I have a month until my assessment centre & did naf reading so far :-/...probs cause getting dragged into other life's affairs. Trying to adopt a view of "Not my circus not my clowns" but finding it difficult to skip the "play" lol..making much sense here as i see huh lol.

I hear what you say about cyber attacks...I've been involved in many as well as probably was a bully myself :-(((...emotions can go high on here and just a matter of developing a "skill" of looking after your own business. I guess we will all get there ☺
Pick what you find useful and leave the rest...mantra of GC 😉

Anyway...You're sailing on well with your recovery! Keep up good work & be proud!

S x

Deat Diary,

There will be a full update tomorrow. And I will reply to all of the kind messages, and reply to people who I want to catch up with. I had a very narrow miss today, in the gaunlet I run at work. I am so grateful that I am blessed with the pressence of mind, and even when my back is against the wall, and I am bricking it, I have a 'game face'. But that was close.....the universe which I firmly believe in, answered my call for diversion pretty swiftly and sudeenly there was a space for me to breathe.

Going to bed to sleep....

We all experience moments in our recovery when we have to decide whether to give in to the temptation and the lure of the dark side...

I'm so pleased that the universe diverted you elsewhere.

Well defended Julie! You're doing really well. Keep on guard.

Sleep well...x

Dear Diary,

Hi Moorey, it wasn't temptation of gambling that I struggled with, it was side stepping violence that was about to descend upon me. I work in a volitile environment and some days this happens. Yesterday I got the five minute warning, but you have to be so alert to that, and read the room, and read the mood, and read what people are not saying. So I did, it leaves you feeling exhasuted at the end of a day, but such as the jon I choose to do.

Deano, thanks for your best wishes as always. Without you and a few others, I couldn't have got to today in one piece.

I will post something longer this evening, I am sorting out my life today...organising, looking after me, and preparing for the week ahead.

Laters.

Julie x
