Day 7 done, yes it's helped with having limited opportunities but even so I've managed to fight any urges

Cheers scottyboy, day 9 none and I walked past 3 bookies in town today!

The reason I didn't go in any of them is because of posting on here I believe

Yes today is twelve days without gambling, I'm grateful for all the people that have made a comment and shown support as it makes me think twice about placing that bet or visiting that bookies. I feel that if I want to come back on here and share my update I don't want to lie or share bad news so it's making me not do it.

14 days without a bet/gamble, I believe at some point I will again but if I can keep it to the odd low stakes football bet and not hundreds of pounds on roulette then I've got to be happy with that?

Let myself down badly today, after 14 days without gambling I popped into the bookies. After being up I managed to walk out about £350 poorer.

So here I go again! Day 1 tomorrow
