Hi Chase
You have done really well going so long without gambling you have not failed you had a slip and now you are back on the road I can't believe I still have urges to gamble after reaching rock bottom but I do I am going to have to battle with my conscience today because I have all the triangle there time money and location because I have a day off am at home on my own and I have a tenner
You are right keeping busy thoughts do not come I think my vulnerable time is when I have worked hard and then when Ihave. Day off I am tired and gambling was my relaxation what a joke relaxation was the last thing it gave me I know that now was fun at the beginning when I could stop but I can't stop now so I can't play
Hope you have a strong gamble free day
Best wishes Suzanne x
Thanks Suzanne. I have stayed gamble free. Hope the same goes for you.
Day 7. So I haven't been on for a couple of days. Went to gamcare on Thursday and now am waiting to start my councelling sessions again. I felt stupid going back but the councillor said I was right to come back as I want to nip this slip in the bud. The thing is when I'm not gambling for a long time I tend to forget all the bad times gambling brings me and think I'm safe however I'm never going to be safe from urges when I enter difficult times in my life. I know this but still always forget it when times are tough.
Affected by gambling?
