Iv not been positing much on here much but have been reading most days.

I have reach 8 months gamble free this is a a huge step after trying to stop before I never thought I would be able to do it. There has been many days where I have thought to myself one little bet will be fine but soon snapped out of it. So all in all things are good I will make it to my goal that I have set my self.

I hope everyone is doing good with there own recovery.

Many thanks for your diary post.

I am very pleased that you have made it to 8 months and hope you keep it up.

February was a bleak time for me and your support was very appreciated. I gues that is why we are here.

I only wish I did not relapse after only five weeks. The year has been quite awful as a result however I have been in greater control so things are not as bad as they could have been.

Here's looking forward to christmas and a gamble-free new year!

Have been able to post a few times this week and was good to get back on to chat!

Everyone is doing really well with there own recoveries keep it up guys....

Another month on and still gamble free, I'm not going to lie still getting the urges very infrequent now and get the thoughts of being able to control my gambling again and just do football coupons which were never a problem but I know I have to be true to myself and know that it wouldn't end up like that soon be sliding down that slippery path again.

Evening guys,

Well the last couple of weeks have been tough, been working away very exhausted with early starts and late finishes with driving long distances each day, I have had many thought while driving past Bering establishments no one will see me, it's only £20, I won't need to tell any one and so on but I have stayed strong not given into my dark side, the only reason why I need to work in another area is because I need the extra money that gambling took away from me so I would be a fool to go back to it!

Well tomorrow is another week 3 more long days then things should be back to normal and we can have a brilliant Christmas.

Best get my head down and get some sleep up at half 5 take it easy and speak soon.

Just thought I would drop in been a while since we posted , I always keep a look out for u as u were the 1st to offer support on my diary and will always be grateful for that and also we started our recoveries at the same time , our journeys av been a little different I av had 2 relapses and used my diary a lot more for support and ur good self gamble free with not as much use on ur own diary but notice u use the chat room more , I tried that once but my phone wouldn't except it

Given all that I am so pleased for u nothin pleases me more than seeing someone esp urself doin so well , its a learning journey that we are on and relapse or not we are both still in there wanting to live better lives and I know we both will
