Hi all, was here a couple of years ago but but like many others, can only manage so many days at a time before I give in and gamble till it's all gone, I literally don't know where to start, let's start by saying I haven't gambled in 7 days and my aim is for now to try and go a whole year gamble free, with in tr last 10 months I've took a loan out of 4000 and blew the lot, blew all my tax rebate just over 2500, owe payday loans about 700, 1650 on my overdraught, 1800 on a credit card which I haven't been paying for god knows how long the list is never ending
basically just sick to death of gambling it's not even about the winning anymore it hasn't been for years it's like it's routine like a religion, like a horrid relationship I can't get out of, but I'm gonna give it my best shot at kicking this bloody habit,
not only am I doing this for myself but for my gf and my 2 beautiful Children who deserve the best.....
Thanks for reading
simmo
Hi Simmo, well done on seven days, this endless cycle of gambling, winning, then losing, losing, losing, abstaining for a few days and then starting all over again, it does your bloody head in, can`t offer you any advice as I`m hopeless myself but keep trying as its the only option we`ve got.
Stay here this time Simmo & never give in giving up no matter how hard it is & how many times you step off the road!
7 days is a lifetime to some so good on you! Choose 'no' one day @ a time & instead of the routine of gambling, get used to the winning your life back, every day we don't gamble is a win for a compulsive gambler - I wish you the very best for you & your 3 who do indeed deserve the best - ODAAT
Thank you very much for the comments, very much appreciated, still not gambled, have has some urges but somehow overcome them which is never heard of, I've got to beat this, I know it's gonna be hard but I've got too much to loose, the debts are still there and will take a couple of years to get rid of but on time things will sort themselves out, I've got to do this for my family and for myself
thanks again
