There's been a lot in the news and on the forum recently about being allowed to gamble when supposedly excluded.
It's a difficult subject because the companies must have some responsibility, as shown by the recent fines they've received, but there has to be a degree of personal responsibility too.
I've 'sneaked' into places I've been self excluded from in the past.
Awful looking back and being that desperate but that's what it can be like.
Also I remember thinking about what I wanted to win money for. A car, a holiday, treat the Mrs.
But even when it did briefly happen none of these things could be done because it meant admitting to gambling again, so it quickly went back to where it came from. And more.
When addiction has you in its *** all logic goes out of the window. Emotions dampen. In fact it numbs all your senses.
When you tackle it it can be hard as your not used to dealing with real life. Real life isn't always great, far from it, but overall it's much better than blocking everything out and being a zombie until it all comes crashing down.
That all sounds pretty negative lol reading it back but it's not meant to be.
Keep trying everyone.
Everybody can change if they want it enough
