Why have Gamcare not fighted for equal advertising against pro gambling adverts on TV...they have a good system (I've not tried it) to blacklist gamers from all/most online sites but I've never seen this advertised!? Sorry but are Gamcare and their associates taking a cut in gamers revenues? I hope not but I'd like to see more of the above advertised to prevent gamers getting in to trouble. It's obvious TV adverts are there to make money but I rarely see gambling ads that discourage online betting, it's the scourge of the modern time. I'm done.

Hello Kittiefest,

Thanks for sharing your ideas. It sounds like you'd prefer to see more promotion of support services alongside advertisements for gambling. You also have a question around GamCare funding.

You can find out about GamCare funding here: https://www.gamcare.org.uk/about-us/donations-and-funding

There is more information about GambleAware here: https://about.gambleaware.org/

You can keep infomed about developments here: https://www.gamcare.org.uk/news

For example, here is a recent news item about a GambleAware 'Bet regret' campaign:

Take care,

Forum admin.
