Hello been gambling for many years now, but a few years back i had my *** account closed down due to me having a meltdown on livechat and admitting i was a gambling addict, i then self excluded. Since then i've been betting most of my wages each week on many different sites including b*****r. *** and *** murged in feb16, so surely they shouldn't of allowed a gambling addict to continue to bet up until now. These betting sites are awful and really dont give a toss about their customers. Although i always knew i had a bit of an issue with betting i'm only now getting help. I know *** recently got sued for about 7million for allowing self excluded punters to bet!

Hello Adam-addict,

The Gambling Commision have a webpage about how to make a complaint to a gambling company, if you believe that they haven't followed their own terms and conditions: http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/for-the-public/Your-rights/Complain-to-a-gambling-business.aspx

You're welcome to call us on 0808 8020 133 if you'd like some more support for your recovery from problem gambling.

Take care,

Forum admin.

Hi Adam addict.

I hope you will now join us in being gamble free. I understand your anger but its a known phase and for now its misdirected and it will only eat you up inside.

In what sense do you feel they cared from the moment you signed up? It was always them vs you as they just want your money. They never cared when I walked home on a cold night with nothing left. You are looking for someone to blame as we all did..and yes they do share the blame just for being there in my view.

You have just been a punter with a number stamped on your forehead. Thats all we ever were. They didnt even know who I was when they opened a machine to find all the money in there

However your frustration with them wont help you now or in the short term. Phone gamcare tell someone close and start putting the real blocks up. You dont need it in your life! They were selling you the drug of gambling and you need to focus your energy now on taking the right advice to stop completely.

Best wishes from everyone on the forum

I been getting emails from the online places I used to play on, my husband installed betfilyer for me on my phone na do am going to get a new sim card and number and change my email address so that they can't send me anything and even if I forget to close an account they can't get to me. I know I have to admit I am an addict, I have admitted to it and now have put the blocks in place to keep it out of my life. These companies always win, always, as long as people return, they don't care if you spend your life savings. My husband always says, the house always wins, it's the same with any gambling. Take this situation into your own hands, put those blocks in place and take the help that gamcare can offer you. I have a long way to go myself but we are in the right place, we can do this!
