Hi all!

Been with my bf for 10 years who has a gambling addiction. This time he has stolen from me which from what I know he has never done before. In the past he has stolen a fair bit from my parents, his parents, friends and work which got him pretty much fired. He has used about 4,000 from a credit card which I don't use (I only got it to help my credit score when buying a house) and he has also been using my debit card over the last few weeks which I am now in my excess were charges occur. He has also got a pay day loan and his bank accound and credit card is maxed out.

We now don't have any money but I will ask my dad if I can borrow a little for food till pay day so thats not so much of a problem. I am devostated that I am now in so much debt. He will pay be back however it will be in small amounts and it is going to make a mark on my credit history which I really needed to be squeaky clean as I am rennovationg my house and need to purchase things.

So some advice needed! Can I ask my bank to block betting websites from my account? Do you have any ideas how I can protect my finances from my bf? The only thing I can think of is keeping my cards in the safe when I get home but that is something which will slip I am not very dilligent with these things.

Thank you for reading 🙂
