I have chosen to post this on the f&f side of the forum rather than my recovery diary for one reason and that is to show that there is life after living in misery.

I have always written my diary with no holds barred. Never held anything back good or bad. On occasions some stuff that's gone on in my life has been with held for legal reasons but other than that I've written everything so those who are in recovery from which ever angle you come from can see how life gets affected. Some may have been helped others may have had their eyes opened while some may have taken offence to my view on life. I hope the latter has never been the case.

It's been quite difficult the last 10 days or so to be as open for reasons which will be come apparent.

A few weeks ago castle2 requested my email address as we both have supported each other a lot thro the forum. We discovered we were pretty much neighbours and knew a few of the same people our paths had crossed on a few occasions without even knowing. Since swapping details we have talked til the cows come home!

Our children have become good friends. I've found this especially good as my children had no one their own age who could even begin to understand. Castle2 has been open and honest with my children on how a CG behaves and is helping them all the time to understand. My hope is with his help they will be able to build a relationship with their dad that's half as strong as jess's is with her dad. It's helped me no end. Just to talk to someone face to face and I know it's helped him and hopefully jess. She really is the most amazing young lady and I feel honoured to get to know her.

I hope castle2 feels he has gained as much as we have from this most unlikeliest of friendships.

So for writing on my diary last year and this, for your Unwavered support, for your blunt honesty, for putting up with my ups and downs for asking questions and making me think about the answers I thank you from the bottom of my heart. A new found friendship that I cherish. From my boys to jess we thank you and look forward to building on that friendship. Looking forward to joining you & all your family on Tuesday to offer our support ( definitely should be made head girl cos your one of the best Jess)
