Right I'm new to this and don't even know if my partner has a problem! ( I'm sure he has he is just very good at making me doubt myself ) we have been together 20 yrs he has always gambled on the horses but iv for some reason not taken much notice!! We divorced about 3 years ago!! I say because of gambling and drugs he says because I had an affair!! We got back together last year and now I'm really thinking iv been a fool for years!!!! When I came back he admitted to 35 thousand pound debt which he blamed on a girlfriend and myself!! He never gave me a penny in the 3 years we were apart and we have 2 children!! I didn't think about this and sorted him out an IVA for this debt!! He earns 3 maybe 4 times more than me but still borrows money every month about £1000 plus off other people!!! He twists all the money problems round on me!!! He sit on his phone with the kids screaming at him to play with them!!! Weekends are in front of the tele watching racing!!!! I feel hurt, angry and stupid!!! Iv just been used!!! I wish we had never come back but now he gas me in so much debt I can't afford to leave!! And also iv got to drag my kids away again and they were so happy we got back together!!!! He really does make me doubt myself what if the gambling isn't the problem I'm making it out to be!!!! What if he gambles trying to make a better life for us!!! What do I do?????? I hope this makes sense!! I hope someone can wave a magic wand and make it all better!!!!!

I'm a partner of someone who will not admit to a gambling problem!! Well he is asleep and I know I shouldn't but iv just been through his phone and been on his web history and it's all ********* !!! I then go into his messages and he has been telling friends and family that we have fallen out because I have spent all his money!!!!! And the things they have replied back is sole destroying!!!! I wrote him a email telling him I loved him and would support him etc and now I find these messages!!!!!!!! Why do I bother!!!
