GMH, I want to reply to you on this thread, because you do belong here, it doesn't matter whether your posts are long or short. Your focus must be on building a life for you and your children. I hope in time your children can build a strong relationship with their dad....his behaviour at present may be undeserving of them, but they deserve to have a dad. Hopefully, when he comes to his senses, he will realise this. Some see gambling as a form of mental illness....I suppose it is, because throwing away money is not the actions of a sensible person...and maybe that is the way to help your children understand....it is not because their dad doesn't care about them. keep posting. You will get through this.
Hey GMH
I hope life is treating you OK.
I know you have felt the need to move on from this thread but I still watch out for it, hoping to see an update from you. I'm sure I read that your husband had been round, seen the children etc, how was that for you? assume your chest infection has gone now? hows the car situation and most important, how did your Daughter's birthday go?
for the record, I also never thought your posts were too long but of course, this is all about you and you obviously need to do whatever you need to
anyway, I'm certain I'm not alone on these forums in that I often think about you and hope that there is more peace in your life than there was a few weeks back, albeit I dont doubt its all still very stressfull
anyway, best wishes
best wishes GMH...hope your absence is a sign of improvements in your life
take care
Has anyone ever heard from GMH? - one of many stories that passes through my mind when I reflect on the damage I have inflicted to those around me, GMH if you do still come onto the site, I really do hope you are well
