I was so sad to read this. you must have been so dissapointed to find out he had kept this from you and made out it was a new problem when it has been a problem for a long time, maybe even a factor to the break down of his first marriage. the deciet is one of the hardest things to deal with i think. if he will agree might be an idea to take control of his wages and cards. it would give you some piece of mind.

Hello W0rried,

I hope that writing your story has helped you to get some more perspective on your experience.

I see that you received some peer support in the ‘New members’ section, and in the ‘Ask GamCare’ section Rachel signposted you to the National Debtline 0808 808 4000 and the free GamCare counselling appointment services. You’re welcome to continue using the forum, and if you like, you can also talk with a GamCare adviser on our Freephone 0808 8020 133 or our Netline.

You mentioned that you feel worried about the affects of stress on your pregnancy; please also talk with your midwife or GP about any concerns you may have about the affects of stress on your mood, health or pregnancy.

Well done for joining the forum and voicing your concerns.

Take care,

Adam.
