I just thought I would do I short introduction on this forum and to to see if anyone else is in the same boat.

I've finally decided to do something about my gambling. It's become to stressful,  to tiring and to much myther. I'm 40 years old and I have been sports betting for 20 years now. From snooker to golf from football to greyhounds if it's on tele I will bet on it .

Has soon has I get paid on a Thursday I am looking to see what I can bet on . I got myself in financial  trouble 2 years ago has I had taken out 6 pay day loans. The total I owed was 3550£ .  I joined Step Changed debt charity to try and get this paid off.  After 2 years, last month I paid all this off and now debt free

I am sick of being skint from Monday morning and waiting till payday to get to the bookies.  2 years ago I self excluded online but since then going into the bookies has got worst.

I have a half decent job were I get paid weekly but it's always gon by Sunday night . I am hoping this is my first step in becoming " gambling free". Thanks for taking time to read this and look forward to see other people's stories and situations.

Quite a big week this week. I am determined NOT to have a single bet . The Masters Snooker starts on the Tele and usually one off the biggest betting weeks of the calendar.

It's going be hard to watch and not have a punt on it. I may even have to find something else to watch but it will be worth it..I hope
