Still going strong, 45 days in and still haven't gambled! Has been very tough and my husband finally found out this week after a discussion on savings. He is being very supportive so that is a weight off my mind. Paying off my debt weekly as soon as I get paid so making a dent in it.
I had hit rock bottom with my last gambling session and I really believe you have to experience that to truly want to stop. That sick feeling, sweating etc, is what it took for me to realise this is no good. You have to put blocks in place though, just wanting to stop will not be enough. access to money and sites must be impossible, keeping busy, hobbies all help. But mainly this site has been a lifesaver, to have fellow addicts who understand and support is amazing. I love the fact you can see the days ticking by.
To you all out there, I am proof that it can be done, keep fighting and tell your yourself each morning that today, I'm not going to gamble.

I'm good thanks. Still enjoying waking in the morning with that; whoopee - I didn't lose any money last night feeling! Day 29 for me today.
No doubt you know as much as I do how difficult being gf is but it's a d**n site harder living with the alternative. Let's both keep it up. Life can only get better!
