Happy New Year people,

I just wanted to post on here that today marks my 75th day & I am extremely happy how far I have come since 18th October. It seems so much longer that 75 days but that’s irrelevant.
Remaining GF is what matters the most!!

I am still in love with Football despite losing all my money to it, this addiction stole my money but it was never going to steal  my love for sports.

100 days on the 26th January ??

Replace the habit with something positive. My positive thought/activity is knowing I still have my kids, my wife & my home.

See you in 25 days ?

A quick message to Deano the big footy fan......keep fighting it mate, we can do this!!

First of all, many congratulations on 75 days, you should be so proud and I'm sure everyone can relate to it feels alot longer but in hindsight I suppose we are serving a life sentence from this addiction so why not count every precious day and make friends to support along the way. Many thanks for my special mention lol, I've obviously talked too much football on here too!! Haha.

I'm still fighting and going strong (unlike Chelsea atm)

You're correct we can do this and I wish you a happy new year and 2021 is kind to you!!

Take care

Deano

Certain stories that people post we relate to. We started being GF around the same time & we both love our footy.
I can remember thinking how can I still carry on watching the Sport I love & try to be GF but I can & I will continue to so.

It stole a lot from me for the last 5 years, BUT I still have the things in life that are most important to me, my kids & wife.

Have a good 2021

Hello @c17ort,

Congratulations and well done on your 75 day milestone without gambling.  Its great that you are experiencing great family time.

You should be very proud of the progress you have made and the dedication you are putting into your recovery. Its clear to see that you are enjoying the benefits that your abstinence is bringing.

Keep posting and sharing your inspiration to others.

Regards

Dan
