I am 20 year old and i am roulette crazy, all started off around 3 year ago i used to watch my friend play and used to enjoy, i turned 18 and that was it i eventually got to play on my own 🙂 as with everybody it starts of small and things go well, ВЈ50 win would make my week, over time i found my self going more and more and spending more money increasing bets ect i became quite found off thw roulette and found my self playing nearly everyday. It was around JUNE 2014 were everything went wrong, i started playing at the casino increasing my bets and succesfully winning ВЈ1000s coming out with ВЈ7400 in 1 session, it was from there i found my self going everyday after work spinning ВЈ800 spins and it all went well... for about 2 weeks. I had made more than a full years wage in just over 2 weeks £27500 to be exact. That should of been enough to set my life up get the things going but that was were my life had changed, i had convinced my self i could gamble for a living i found my self taking days of work to go to the casino and doing hugely stupid spins, before i knew it i had nothing and from there i have done nothing but chase, winning money along the way but seeing no real value to it and end up putting it all back in no matter what, i belived i could make something from it it was more than a gamble it was a game that i enjoyed playing i now win money large amounts of money but doesnt seem real wether i take it or loose it it always finds its way back. I should have a real healthy bank balance with me workinf full time and debt free but i feel asif now no matter what amount i win it is never enough so i always end up loosing it back, im just looking for a little help and advice as im still young and would like to get it all under controll before its too late

'It's never enough' you hit the nail on the head there friend. Good book by a gambler Mike Burke. Seems like you've lost all concept of the value of money, and you'll never be happy going back to small bets and winning £50. You obviously have to stop, because at 20 yrs old if you're not happy with almost £30,000 you'll keep betting ridiculous stakes to get the bigger buzz. It's a drug mate, you're developing a higher tolerance and you need more and more to feel a high. If you're doing £800 spins to get the excitement then you could quite easily lose 100's of thousands in the future.

Don't be fooled by the big wins, it was pure luck, and before you know it you could be in a whole world of pain in the future. It's not worth the risk my friend. Get out right now, and try and occupy your brain with other things, like making music or going to the gym, or gaining a good education. You can be whatever you want to be, I advise you not to choose being a gambler though. You'll always have an empty feeling winning money, because you never worked for it and it was quick and easy. You're all about the action, you just want the adrenaline rush of playing high stakes. It's time to leave that behind trust me.

You can stop now, you have recognised you have a problem which is the first step. You say you are debt free, that is great and if you read other posts on the forum, you'll see you are in the minority there! Most of us have racked up huge debts due to gambling. Don't become one of us, stop now while you can. Keep yourself as busy as possible and exclude yourself from the casinos.

Good luck.

The meeting will be fantastic for you, but you only get out what you put in, if you make the effort the meetings are fantastic. Be. Well

"It's never enough"

Someone else has already quoted this but I felt I had to quote it again. It's so true, it's not even about the money after a while its the buzz.. It's the feeling of your body tingling and your heart racing... just like a drug.

I hope you manage to kick it friend 🙂
