Why do we do it? That’s all I ask. We know the consequences, we know the massive amounts of debt we have but we keep adding to it every single time.
we know deep down we will never recover the hundreds of thousands of pounds I’ve lost, but yet again through football betting I have lost another huge amount of money this week.
That horrible feeling of the next day & trying to battle through at work pretending everything is great when deep down it’s destroying me inside.
I simply cannot stop, does it literally have to take everything from me before it stops? My home, my wife, my kids, my job?
Hi King,
I'm sorry to hear that you have been experiencing further issues surrounding gambling harms.
I once felt like that, does it have to take everything? why has it happened again? I gambled daily for nearly 12 years of my life and caused so much destruction, however, I can assure you that recovery is possible.
Please maintain your perseverance and continue to navigate these forums. There is so much help and support readily available.

Hi King
im new on this - I’m a 52 year old man and been betting for 40 years . I’ve lost 2 marriages , just been found out by wife that yet again I’ve been betting . Not in a good way , I have finally decided to do Gamstop/ Gamban , I have lost like you hundreds of thousands , lost everything - enough is enough -
Hey man I hope your holding up ok.
That's the thing we have to think, the moneys gone & further damage would do us no good.
Have u cracked on with putting any blocks in place & have u considered GA?
I went back to GA last year after I gambled again & it turned out to be 1 of the best things that happened for me in what was quite an up & down here.
Always here if u need support mate
