Hi all.

Do other people have addiction issues with online competition prize sites? I have been really stupid with too many of them and am now in a great deal of debt, about 60k. These websites are not governed in the same way as bookies or casinos online, so credit card companies have allowed me to rack up thousands buying tickets. It is my fault though. I’ve been chasing losses for too long. It has to stop and I’m at the point of looking into debt management plans.

My god yes. Signed up to gamstop last year. Kept getting these sites promoted to me on social media etc. Played one and straight away won a ps5 on an instant win. I was immediately hooked spent hundreds on tickets and never won a thing. I think it's what caused me to relapse. Was chasing those losses and got the bug. Had to find gambling sites not affected by gamstop but I found one and literally today  Tue 30th. I lost everything, thats why I'm here.

Sorry to hear that anonymoose

They remind me of the FOBT that were classed as the crack C*****e of gambling before they stopped the higher wagering. The instant win competitions are by far the worst as it is immediate gratification. It was literally like putting cash into a machine and hoping for a jackpot.
