Over the last 2 years easily 20K down. Constantly blowing my wages as soon as I get paid.
Was doing so well not to gamble for months. I got paid last night then went to the bookies and lost £1,200
I only got paid £1,500 this month and have a lot of expenses this month...
Time to dip into everything I have tried to save up by not gambling, and I was doing so well too.
Tired of this c**P. Losing money I worked hard all month for in a few hours. Feeling bad to spend £30 on something nice but then blowing £1,200 in a few hours of gambling.
This has ruined my life.
Never have anything nice because I blow half or more of my wages every time.
I am in the same position as you. I am down more than you (probably like 30-40k total), but i also get paid £1500 per month and lose it all gambling.
I have the same with not wanting to spend £30 but then gambling thousands. I am known for being stingy with my money, i never buy anything for myself and people think i have a lot of savings because of it. But i just lost it all again and am down to just £200 in my bank account after over 2 years of working full time.
I have however just signed up for gamban and will sign up for gamstop when i wake up as it is 5am for me. I think this will finally be the end, i only gamble online and i cannot relapse if the sites are all banned.
I justed wanted to share so you know there are others in your situation. I am 21 and feel behind in life because of this, but we all have this addiction and have to just start from scratch and not think about the losses.
