The last couple of days, since I made the decision to seek help for my addiction, have been a bit of a blur but today I properly started my journey on the road to recovery.
Having put in place GAMSTOP blocks and installing GAMBAN on to my devices yesterday, today I went through the process of putting all my finances into my wife's control and attended my first GA meeting.
I didn't know what to expect but it was reassuring to see that there are others just like me that I could talk to as an equal rather than being judged for what I've done. I'm feeling extremely positive about overcoming this and staying on the right path.
