So it’s happened again

been away for two weeks gambling free on holiday come back and lost a tonne of money.

i don’t know why I keep doing this

tomorrow is the day I start my life gambling free. I’ve just signed up to Gamstop for 5 years but i walks past 3/4 bookies on the way home.

any tips to stop gambling and stop the urge would be most welcome

thanks

I'm not sure there is good tip to stop or beat the urge. The grip of gambling does loosen with time, I've been gamble free for 4 months and find my destructive gambling behaviour has eased off but to get this far meant signing up to all the gambling blockers possible (GameStop, sense etc ..) I only carry a small bit of cash and have turned on gambling blocks on my bank. I still want to gamble and think I will for the rest of my life, however the measure's I've put in place make it very difficult to resume my past destructive behaviour.
