The first steps already been taken by addmiting to yourself you have a problem and looking for help and support in fighting this , I'd also like to add that your not a bad person or a bad mum but like us all on here youv'e just made some some wrong choices that's led to you becoming addicted to gambling .

This thing's one big cycle of destruction , you gamble with money that's supposed to be for everyday thing's , you sometimes win and think great this is easy money but mostly we lose which then leads us to borrow more to cover for the thing's we already had the money to buy before we gambled and the we repeat and get deeper into debt ?.

There's many thing's you can do such as downloading blocking sofware that won't allow you to gamble online , I'd also point you in the direction of a friend of mine's diary on here called " online slots " it's by Loxxie who's just coming up to a 1000 day's gamble free and had the same problem with online slots as yourself , it shows her progress on here from day one and would be well worth a read :)) You'll find it on the recovery page about half way down at the moment .

I'm sorry this post isn't giving you much detail but I just wanted you to know that your not on your own and we all understand how those first hours / day's / weeks can be .

I've been clean just over 3 yrs now and can tell you that if you want a new gamble free life , then take it , it's a bit of a struggle at first but it does get much easier with time and you'll start to feel much better as time goes on :))

Freya, first of all I'm guessing you are not a bad mum! Gambling makes us all anxious by thinking dreadful things when we loose. I'm recent here myself although having an account for almost a year, I've decide that now is enough!!!
You'll find support from any member on this page.
We can get through this together and I'll help you out along the way as much as I can.

Thanks for the kind words guys, just getting to the point were my family is skint iv blown all my money today and left with 20 quid to last a week iv spent 150 quid today I know it's not a Hugh amount but to us it is just can't help it iv self excused from the 5 casinos that I play on.

Well your taking the right steps. Sign up to a site called gamblock, you register with them and they exclude from every online casino. Period. And I have a blocking software on my devices call gamban, it's 10pound for the year but has helped me, my problem was bookmakers but I've self excluded from all of them in my town. There is a company/number when searched on Google that can help you with this if that's what you would like to do.
