First of all, I think I've always known I've had a gambling problem since my first "big hit" at a land based casino. I feel as if because I have the money why shouldn't I use it, I mean I don't have anything else to buy? But I want this feeling to stop and I'm too ashamed to go back to said friend and tell her as I'll be judged and shamed upon and I just don't know what to do or who to speak too anymore.
If your friend is a real true friend she will understand. The way to stop the feeling is to stop gambling. It doesn't get better overnight. If you don't stop the feeling will get worse, the lies get worse, self loathing, debt. Downward spiral. So go and tell your friend, call gamcare, find a GA meeting. 100% commitment, blocks, gamstop etc.
Put more blocks in there are even banks that block gambling self exclude from bookies
