Hi All,

I’m 21 years old and over the last 3 years probably somewhere in the region of about 15k down gambling.

Ive previously managed to stop gambling for a period of around 5-6 months in which time I felt a lot better and my finances were looking a littler healthier.

I work full time and usually take home after tax between 2.1-2.6k and as I still live at home my outgoing aren’t too high £500-£600.

unfortunately this means a lot of my money seems to go on gambling and over the course of 3 years I’ve taken out multiple credit cards that’s I’ve had to live off because of my gambling. I have managed to pay 2 of these off thankfully.

Today is my first day not gambling and i just would like some guidance from someone who’s recovered/recovering at what point I will start to feel better about myself again as I'm currently feeling very low.

I know that if I stick to it I’ll come out the other side but I just want to know at what point a page felt like it had been turned for others

TIA,
