What helped me.
Signed up to Gamstop register gave every email address I own!
spoke to bank (natwest) explained my demon, they couldn’t block my card to these unlicensed sites! I have a monzo account and they have been fantastic, my card is blocked as are my new credit cards (yep I can’t now get credit for the first time in 15 yrs)
I spoke to natwest and cancelled my debit card.
This has helped me stop, my urges now are very few and far between now and usually are satisfied by a choccy bar or a fix of Netflix!
I had counselling from gamcare and she was truly an angel sent to help, I’m yet to go to a meeting due to lockdown and I’m sooo nervous but each day a bit of the old me is returning. I can’t stress enough my lack of self control but I’m winning this battle!
Don't give up hope people, I visited some dark times and this took my 30s and 40s, many relationships and family. I’m still here and look forward not back (most days)

Advice as well. If you have smartphone and blockers on it like i have. When lockdown is over. Go to your iphone or sansung store to password protect or see if you can remove factory reset. This is possible
This applies to all gambling this my technique to beat my rare urges try it just keep thinking and telling yourself "they dont want you to win" and "your not gonna win" these are true lines. The more you say it. It does hit u and works.
