I've acknowledged my gambling addiction for years. Spent my salary for months on end, borrowed more than I can afford etc...

I stopped for 9 months last year and halved my debts. My lifestyle improved, more experiences, became a fitter, healthier and more productive. By July I'd paid off some nasty debts and could see the light. Became complacent and buckled with my wages twice in a row.

Confided in my girlfriend (who knew the full extent!). She supported me and I went pretty much 3 months with no compulsive gambles.

I've just buckled in the last few days to the amount of around £150... marginal compared to usual but still significant.

My target is to go 1000 days without a gamble.

I plan to visit this website every day... to remind myself of the damage that gambling causes and hopefully provide support for new members struggling by empathising and sharing stories.
