Well I am Paul and this is my 1st post. I have a problem gambling that really got out of control in the last 10 months I got hook on online live roulette. The day before New Year's Eve i got the wake up call that I needed to stop!!! And tell my wife and parents. This I thought was going to be really hard and could have ended my marriage. Thankfully it was a lot easier than I thought and both my wife and parents have been really understanding. The later have even managed to scrap enough money together to clear my debts which could have meant I was declared bankrupt!!!!!

You are lucky for your parents to bail you out. Many of us are on our own and are in a much more perilous position, and believe me, it's no fun.
Your sole priority should be your family and your marriage. I'd rather have people around me and whom I loved than having a mega win on any form of gambling that can hurt you.
If your demise is through online gambling you should try installing software which doesn't allow you to gamble.
I hope you wake up and realise what is more important, as I am doing now.

Tell me about it. One of my main worries after telling my loved ones was paying the money back or the consequences of not being able to and the effect on my family, and that is a great weight lifted off me!!! Reading a lot of threads on here if this can be it for me I will have got off very lightly indeed compared to others, as I feel having the debt would have been a key factor in gambling agin as I feel that's what got me started in the 1st place.
I feel like a new person and it's only been 6 days!!!! I have been spending time with my 2 year old daughter that has just not happened in the past 10 months. Even though the urge is there's to gamble the want not to is greater!!!
The gambling software may not really work as I used an iPad. 1 thing that is going to help is that my wife so going to take control of the finances from know on and I will get a weekly/monthly allowance.
