I am in the same boat as you, online gambling is nasty. It's something that has ruined my financial life and put me in situations that I never wanted to be in, I hope we can both get the support and kick this bad habit once an for all

Online gambling is the worst! Doesn't even feel like real money till you start building up the debt. I wouldn't ever spend as much if it was cash in my hand. Youv took a great step in admitting you have a problem and joining here. Have you put any blocks in place to help you? Or spoken with the helpline. They have been a great help to me. Also reading through the forum has helped me alot in realising I'm not alone.

I also joined today and I also have a massive gambling problem with online slots well done for even coming on here and admitting it

Bw555 I thought the same that I wouldn't spend as much if I could actually see the money I was putting in, so after I blocked all my online slots I started going to slots in town, I was wrong! Once you get into that trance of gambling you don't even think about the money, it makes no difference if you can see it or not I'm affraid. Good luck to all!

You know your probably right.
I say I wouldn't but I am a compulsive gambler.
So I'd probably bet on anything. Cash card. Whatever. It's definitely less real online till you have bills to pay though.

Yeah I really thought id came up with a good way to be able to control my gambling! the bigger machines and loud sounds when you get a win keeps you even more in the trance then just looking at a phone, and a cashpoint right beside you, you totally lose track of how many notes you've fed into the machine untill your card is declined! Well that's how it was for me anyway, I've learnt finally that it doesn't matter how, where or what I'm gambling on, once I start I just can't stop. And yes the reality doesn't hit till it's over and your account is empty, such a horrible feeling.
