I used to try and convince myself that gambling is nothing, I’ll just win it back.. that was when I was only depositing a very little amount at a time.. now this is not the case, I’m a young person.. spending money I don’t have. It’s an awful feeling. So thankful to have happened upon this page, here’s to going gf. 💪🏻

I am glad you have found this page too. You sound determined and ready to start your gambling recovery journey. I can imagine with spending money you don't have the impact is more immediate. You may wish to put some blocks and/self-exclusions in place such as www.gamstop.co.uk (if you are in the UK) to make it more difficult for you to gamble (if you do gamble online).
You may also wish to find some peer support by joining in one of our general Chatroom sessions on the this GamCare website at 1pm and 8pm each weekday.
