Hello,
I am new to the site and somewhat nervous and optimistic on how this will support me in my journey moving forward.
I started gambling about 18 months ago and having told my wife about 7-8 months ago, she was able to forgive me and support me and financial clear my debts.
Sadly I stopped my counselling and medication thinking I was ok and didn’t want to mask me with this but over the past couple of months I have started to gamble.Â
Following being asked by my wife whether she could see my bank account, I lied and tried to say we were not good enough for one another in fear that I had already sealed my fate by betraying her.
I am currently 4 days on and still under the same roof and somewhat confused that I have broken all trust, betrayal and not sure what the future holds for us, that we are still communicating and she is showing support for me.
I truly hope that when I receive some support and join some chat rooms, and complete the various tasks in the support guidance, it will give me the will power to change and hopefully rescue my relationship.
